Tecno POP 6 with 6.1-inch HD+ display, 5000mAh battery is now official

Entry-level device Tecno POP 6 just got released in Nigeria, priced at USD 130.

A budget phone with a big battery

As the successor of the POP 5, the smartphone features a plastic build at the back like other budget devices have. The device measures 157.8 x 73.84 x 9.7mm.

There's a 6.1-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 720 x 1560 pixels resolution in front. Under the hood, this one is powered by a 1.3Ghz octa-core processor paired with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. 

For additional storage, it has a dedicated microSD card slot. Aside from that, this one is equipped with a beefy 5,000mAh battery that can be charged through a micro-USB port.

Meanwhile, the back panel of the device sports a dual-camera system consisting of a 5-megapixel primary lens, a QGVA AI depth sensor, and an LED flash. For selfies, the 5-megapixel snapper is housed on a teardrop notch on the display that also comes with a flash. 

The POP 6 offers other features such as dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with a fingerprint scanner and a face unlock feature for security.

The Tecno POP 6 runs with Android 11 (Go edition). It comes in three colorways: Sea Bluet, Sky Blue, and Lime Green.
