Samsung has brought its new portable SSD that offers fast performance, tough and compact build to the Philippines!
USB 3.2 Gen 2 and PCIe NVMe in a compact passage?
The new Samsung T7 Shield 1TB Rugged Portable SSD was recently listed on the DataBlitz website.
Samsung claims that the new external storage solution's USB 3.2 Gen 2 and PCIe NVMe can achieve read speeds of 1,050 MB/s and write speeds of 1,000MB/s. This makes it perfect for lag-free editing direct from the drive. The SSD is enclosed in a high-tech rubber exterior with Dynamic Thermal Guard that deals with the heat to maintain steady performance for massive projects.
The SSD features a rugged design with an advanced outer elastomer that Samsung says can endure a 3-meter drop while offering an IP 65 water and dust resistance rating.
It supports AES 256-bit hardware encryption and it comes with Samsung Portable SSD Software 1.0 and Samsung Magician Software.
The device measures 59 x 88 x 13 mm and comes in either Black or Blue.
