realme GT Neo3 ships with 150W super-fast charging

Years of building the fastest charging standard, the battery wars are finally bearing fruit. Some smartphones today are coming out with ridiculously impressive charging capabilities. A member of that race, realme has outed a new smartphone duo – the realme GT Neo3 — that can blow away a lot of expectations in the super-fast charging arena.

Launching in China first, the GT Neo3 comes with the new 5nm Dimensity 8100 chipset from MediaTek. It can sport up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Besides the brand-new processor, the series also comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

At its rear, the GT Neo3 comes with three cameras: 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera + 8-megapixel ultrawide camera + 2-megapixel macro camera. In front, users can snap selfies with a single 16-megapixel camera.

And now, here’s the main event. The series comes in two delightful flavors. The regular version comes with an impressive 5000mAh battery. Even as a regular version, the variant ships with an 80W flash charging adapter. It can reportedly pump the battery to full in just 32 minutes.

On the other hand, the second version comes with just 4500mAh of battery capacity. However, it ups the standard by shipping with a 150W UltraDart charger. It can reportedly charge the phone to 50 percent in just five minutes. Despite the blazing speed, realme says that the battery will stay below 43°C even while charging.

The realme GT Neo3 comes in black, silver, or blue. The regular version will start at CNY 1,999. Meanwhile, the 150W version will start at CNY 2,599.
