Early Pixel 7 leak reveal the same Pixel 6 design

Anyone up for early Pixel 7 rumors? Following a relatively popular Pixel 6 launch, Google is already looking towards what the future will look like. If a newly released render is believable, it doesn’t look like much is changing.

According to early renders leaked by OnLeaks and Smartprix, the Pixel 7 Pro will still have the same camera bar that the Pixel 6 series introduced. Despite the similarity, the renders show rear cameras that looks strangely larger than usual. Although, it’s possible that they look enlarged only on this specific render. Another source, via ChooseBestTech, confirms that the next series will have the same two lenses as its predecessors.

In terms of differences, the upcoming smartphone is reportedly smaller and thinner than the Pixel 6. The dimensions are 155.6 x 73.1 x 8.7 mm. The current smartphone measures 158.6 x 74.8 x 8.9 mm. Having a lither frame will benefit users who found the Pixel 6 series bulky.

Further, the renders carry a prominent mmWave 5G antenna right on top. Of note, the Pixel 6 series had a more subdued panel for the antenna. The Pixel 7 renders, on the other hand, have a sizable area for the feature.

At this point in the release cycle, we’re still missing a lot of details about the flagship series. Plus, details might not come as quick or as massive as this set of renders. Google is still preparing for the follow-up to the Pixel 6 series, the Pixel 6a.

If the Pixel 7 series will follow the same release cycle as the current generation, the flagship series is expected to launch sometime in October this year.
