Pixel Watch marketing images leaked

Last week, a leak hinted at an upcoming smartwatch from Google coming soon. Though the leak did not reveal much about the upcoming device, the rumor mill can quickly churn out details in an instant. Now, we have the clearest look yet at the upcoming Pixel Watch.

Revealed by infamous leaker Jon Prosser, a series of marketing images has reportedly revealed the unannounced wearable in its entirety. The images show a circular smartwatch with no bezel, a rubber watch, and a physical crown. They don’t show a lot of details about the device, but they do hint at the standard array of smartwatch features including fitness tracking and navigation.

Compared to other information-heavy wearables, the Pixel Watch looks like it will have the same minimalist design as the Material You system introduced with the Pixel 6 series.

The Pixel Watch is currently set for a launch sometime in 2022. There is no exact launch date yet. We also don’t know how much the wearable will sell for.

Regardless, an upcoming in-house smartwatch will certainly complement the recently launched Pixel 6 series featuring the new Tensor chipset. Besides the upcoming wearable, Alphabet, Google’s parent company, also owns Fitbit now, making up a thriving wearable business even without a Google-branded one.
