Remastered GTA trilogy is coming this year on PC and Console, Mobile on 2022

Rockstar Games announced that the Grand Theft Auto: Trilogy—The Definitive Edition will arrive on PC, Consoles this year, and Mobile on 2022.

Remastered GTA games arriving this year!

Rockstar will be launching the game in honor of their upcoming anniversary. The remastered trilogy will consist of the iconic games from your childhoodGrand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas. The developers of the game also stated that it will have graphical improvements and will include modern gameplay enhancements while also retaining the classic look and feel of the original versions.

The trilogy will be playable on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Rockstar also confirmed that there will be iOS and Android versions too that will arrive in the first half of 2022.

But next week, the developers will begin withdrawing existing versions of the iconic games from digital stores in preparation for the debut. Although those existing players who bought the games previously will still be able to download and play them on their respective platforms. 

However, the exact release date of the Trilogy is yet to be announced by Rockstar Games.

In the meantime, as part of the 20th-anniversary celebration, there will be in-game freebies for the Grand Theft Auto Online throughout the upcoming events this Fall.
