OPPO ColorOS 12 global version now official

OPPO’s all new and improved global version of ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 is now rolling out globally. OPPO Find X3 Pro users in Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia get first dibs.

What’s new?

Inclusivity is the central idea that OPPO worked with. Given that, ColorOS 12 now has a central theme. Following what they call the “Infinite Design Concept”, the newest iteration of OPPO’s Android skin comes packed with softer icons, animations and information framework. All of which are friendly to different languages and cultures, as well as an adaptable framework that works with different phone formats.

Phones that will get the update should also expect some performance boosts. It addresses lags and stutters. This leads to a low 2.75 percent system aging rate in three years, an average of 30 percent lower memory occupation and 20 percent lower battery consumption.

It also comes with improved security and privacy features from Android 12. These include Privacy Dashboards, Approximate Location Sharing and Microphone and Camera Indicators.
