Pixel 6 series is reportedly shipping on October 28

The Google Pixel 6 is coming. And, based on how hyped the company is, the upcoming flagship series has a lot in store for the future of smartphones. However, though Google has already confirmed the series, the company hasn’t revealed when the Pixel 6 will officially launch. Now, we might have a date.

Google usually launches the next Pixel series sometime in the fall. According to a new report from Jon Prosser, the Pixel 6 series is no different. The series will reportedly launch on October 28. Pre-orders will start on October 19. That said, the actual launch event will likely happen on October 19. Then, the October 28 launch represents when the series will start shipping out.

Prosser revealed the launch date after investigating a prior leak reporting the same. Before the report, a rumor reportedly pegs the Pixel 6 launch for a day before Apple’s iPhone 13 launch event. Naturally, the rumored launch day was a problem for most fans. Google probably doesn’t have enough leverage to upend Apple’s momentum when the iPhone 13 comes out.

Google has previously confirmed that the series is coming with the latest Tensor chip, the first in-house processor coming from Google. The series will also come with the latest hardware in the industry.

That said, the Pixel 6 is truly coming. Given Google’s usual launch windows for the series, it is believable that the flagship series is coming towards the end of October.
